Question of The Week – Vol. 2

I am overjoyed to know that Question of The Week was just as successful here on the official website! Last week’s question – “What’s your 2017 New Year’s Resolution?” brought in amazing responses and resolutions that are totally achievable. Especially, Aleshia – A Trace of Lace who wants to try video blogging and Ira – Ira Suhami who wants to continue her academic studies and possibly move to Dubai.

This week’s question is inspired by my How to Make A Vision Board post and a book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne that formally introduced me to the law of attraction. That’s why this week I inviting you to share books in the comments bellow that changed your life like The Secret did with mine!

Which books have changed your life or your perspective?

Let me know in the comments bellow!

Not really my thoughts in life, but ‘A Monster Calls’ was a very hard read for me. I’m a speed reader, and I go through books like I go through food while I’m ravenous. It took me a few days to finish the book, mainly because I had to stop after a few pages. I bought it while my mom was sick (with cancer), and it hit too close to home. It was difficult to finish that it stuck with me. Every single time I get asked which book really stayed with me, I would always answer this.

My thoughts go out to you Teesh and thank you for sharing the difficult times you experienced with your mother when she was sick. Not only can specific books or material items bring us happy memories they can also bring up heavy emotions too. My heart goes out to you.
