Being in the presence of Lizzo last week left me feeling speechless. She is such an empowering artist and musician. When I discovered her song Boys on Popheads in 2018, I had a feeling that she would quickly rise to stardom.
The audience’s energy was infectious and people were either dressed in cozy sweaters or glittery costumes. Here is what I wore to the fun and exciting event.
LIZZO CONCERT OUTFIT
Top – Uniqlo Pink Souffle Yarn Mock Neck Sweater
This sweater appears to look like it’s made of wool without skin irritation. The pink mock turtleneck kept me warm all night and was well suited to wear at an outdoor concert.
Bottoms – Old Navy The Pixie Mid-Rise Ankle Pants in On Black Dot
The Pixie Pants from Old Navy are some of the most flattering and affordable dress pants. I would’ve worn black denim jeans but the black dress pants elevated the outfit.
Jacket – Forever 21 Black Silver Studded Faux Leather Jacket
In my LANY Concert Outfit, I spoke about this motorcycle jacket. I feel like a rockstar when I wear it and I like how it’s a great layering piece for Fall.
Shoes – ALDO Cadaundra Black Ankle Boots
A classic pair of pointy black ankle boots.
Jewellery – Silver Pearl Ring and Pearl Studs
Nails – Essie Nail Polish in Hay There
This is a brand new nail polish from the Essie 2019 Fall Collection. It’s the first yellow nail polish I’ve owned and I like how it compliments the pink sweater.
Lipstick – Maybelline New York Color Sensational Made For All Lipstick in Fuchsia For Me
Maybelline New York created a lipstick collection called Made For All. They tested 7 different coloured lipsticks (ie. a red, a plum, etc) on 50 diverse skin tones and found that they were flattering on everyone. I wore the shade Fuchsia For Me to the concert because I knew it would be one of the last times where I’d be able to wear a bright pink lipstick in Fall.
