Time flies! This is the third year where I’ve been sharing beauty products I’ve emptied on the blog.

I’m now comfortable sharing with you three months of products that I’ve finished. It gives me better insight on what products I should stock up on and what products are fun purchases.

Here are my beauty empties from January to March 2020!

Avene Thermal Spring Water (Product Review)

My favourite thermal water spray.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$21.95 – 300ml Value-Size) (c$16.50 – 150ml Standard-Size)

Beekman 1802 Sweet Grass Goat Milk Hand Cream (First Review)

This hand cream smells herbal and feels moisturizing. I’m not re-purchasing because I’m currently using the J.R. Watkins Pomegranate & Acai Shea Butter Hand Cream

Re-Purchase? NO. (us$15 – 59ml)

Dove Kiwi Seeds & Cool Aloe Exfoliating Body Polish (First Review)

I adore the texture of this body polish and how gentle it feels on my skin. I prefer the crushed macadamia and rice milk version. Yet, the kiwi seeds and cool aloe version smells refreshing.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$8.47 – 298g)

Dove Purely Pampering Sweet Cream With Peony Body Wash (First Review)

I like the Dove Purely Pampering body washes because they’re affordable, I like the Dove Purely Pampering body washes. Due to them being affordable, moisturizing, and SLS-free. Peonies are my favourite flowers and the combination of sweet cream smells divine.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$4.47 – 354ml)

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser (Product Review)

My favourite facial cleanser.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$29 – 400ml Value-Size)

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (First Review)

My favourite hyaluronic acid serum.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$12.20 – 60ml Value-Size)

Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect Mascara in Black

A well formulated drugstore mascara that doesn’t clump or flake. I like it’s plastic-silicone brush and pink metallic packaging too. It give your lashes a fanned-out dramatic look.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$6.96 – 9.5ml)

Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in 10 Dreamer

Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Inks are my favourite drugstore liquid lipsticks. When they go on sale, I like experimenting and picking up a couple of shades. I learned my lesson and stopped doing this because it’s wasteful when you can’t test them on your lips. For example, the shade 10 Dreamer is a light pink with a purple hue that doesn’t suit the pink undertones in my skin. I had to use a heavy lip liner to feel comfortable wearing it outside.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$9.96 – 5ml)

Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in 05 Loyalist

The shade 05 Loyalist is one of the lightest nudes in the SuperStay Matte Ink collection. It washes me out because it’s only a little bit pinker than my skin tone.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$9.96 – 5ml)

Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in 50 Voyager

In the season of Fall, I always have a desire to buy dark vampy lipsticks like the shade 50 Voyager. These shades are hard to apply and way too dramatic for my lifestyle. They then sit in my makeup collection for months and expire.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$9.96 – 5ml)

Maybelline New York TattooStudio Waterproof Eyebrow Gel in Medium Brown

I didn’t like this drugstore brow gel because it’s a thick product that’s hard to remove. I also noticed once I stopped using it, the small blemishes I got close to my eyebrows stopped occurring.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$11.96 – 6.8ml)

NYX Epic Ink Liner in Black

In the beauty community, this NYX eyeliner is mentioned to be a KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner dupe. It’s pigmented, has a flexible felt tip, and is long-lasting for a drugstore eyeliner. It’s not as reliable as KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner but it’s an affordable alternative.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$12 – 1ml)

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Porcelain (Product Review)

My favourite foundation.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$51 – 30ml)

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

A luxurious hair mask that smells like orange popsicles and moisturizes your hair. I recommended trying the travel size version to see if the full-size is worth the investment for you. Briogeo is a credible haircare brand and this hair mask is an indulgence.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$12 – 30ml Mini-Size)

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Super Moisture Shampoo

Like the Briogeo mask, this shampoo smells like orange popsicles and lathers like a dream. Using this shampoo was such an enjoyable experience. I may re-purchase it once I’m done with the Nexxus shampoo I’m trying.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$46 – 473ml Standard-Size)

Garnier Whole Blends Oat Delicacy Gentle Rinse-Out Mask

An affordable hair mask that has the same consistency as a conditioner. I didn’t notice any difference in hydration when using it on my hair. I prefer thicker consistency hair masks that coat and saturate the hair.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$7.99 – 300ml)

Garnier Whole Blends Oat Delicacy Gentle Shampoo

A drugstore shampoo that has a thin consistency, is not SLS-free, and doesn’t lather well.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$4.96 – 370ml)

Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (First Review)

My favourite anti-dandruff hair treatment.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$24.77 – 120ml Value-Size)

Essie Speed Setter Top Coat

Over time, this Essie top coat became a thick glue-like consistency that would mess up my manicures.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$10 – 13.5ml)

Lancôme IDOLE Le Parfum

This classic floral perfume is long-lasting and has notes of jasmine and rose. I didn’t adore the scent as much as my other samples. Yet, my family members kept complimenting the fragrance when I wore it.

Purchase? NO. (c$126 – 50ml Standard-Size)

Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L’Eau De Parfum

When I wore this sample, it was love at first smell.  It’s a feminine warm scent with notes of iris, vanilla, and praline. The only con is that it isn’t long-lasting on the skin.

Purchase? MAYBE. (c$127 – 50ml Standard-Size)

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet

The best way to describe this perfume is to say it’s a more subtle Aquolina Pink Sugar with notes of white raspberry, daisy tree petals, and sugar musk.

Purchase? NO. (c$102 – 50ml Standard-Size)

Prada CANDY Eau De Parfum

This perfume is a popular warm scent with notes of white musk and caramel. I liked it but have no interest in purchasing it.

Purchase? NO. (c$115 – 50ml Standard-Size)

Givenchy Dahlia Divin Le Nectar de Parfum

My family member gifted me this perfume and I enjoyed it’s fruity floral scent. There are notes of rose and jasmine in it. I want to try other scents which is why I will not be making it one of my signature scents.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$127 – 50ml)

Life Brand Eye Care Towelettes (First Review)

My eye condition started bothering me and I’ve re-introduced eye wipes. I wanted to try the generics again to see if they would be good enough. They’re not and I’ve switched to the name brand ones.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$12.99 – 30 Towelettes)

Sendodyne Pronamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste (First Review)

My favourite SLS-free toothpaste.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$5.76 – 110ml Value-Size)

Skintimate Coconut Delight Moisturizing Shave Gel (First Review)

I’ve used Skintimate shave gels before and like how effective they are. This coconut scented one smells tropical and I look forward trying the vanilla bean scented one next.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$4.99 – 198g)
