Products I Finished – December 2018

The Products I Finished series is officially complete for 2018 and I’ll discuss in a later post if my one year of makeup minimalism was a success. Moving forward, I think this series will be updated every two months to make room for more original content.

Thank you for sticking with this blog series in 2018 and here are the products I finished in December.

Products I Finished – December 2018

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+

I bought this lotion in Winter 2016 and forgot about it. It is a moisturizing, ingredient-rich lotion that dries matte, and has no fragrance. I may re-purchasing it once I finish my other lotions.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$33 – 400ml Full Size)

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (First Review)

My favourite hyaluronic acid serum.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$6.80 – 30ml)

EOS Limited Edition Peppermint Mocha Lip Balm (First Review)

I’ve stopped using lip balms with dry ingredients in them like mint and citrus. Once, the holiday season ended I retired these EOS lip balms.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$3.97 – 7g Discontinued)

Nivea Soothing Care Lip Balm SPF 20

A fragrance-free lip balm with SPF that I have no interest in re-purchasing.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$1.98 – 4.8g)

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

It’s hard to believe that I use to buy BeautyBlender sponges just because they were pink. I switched to a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and noticed no difference from the luxury sponge.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$8.47 – 1 Sponge)

Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm

This lotion is similar to the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+, however, it doesn’t dry matte and that’s why I’ll not purchase a full size.

Purchase? NO. (c$24.90 – 500ml Full Size)

Burt’s Bees Moisturizing Lip Balm Cucumber Mint

I no longer use lip balms with drying ingredients in them.

Purchase? NO. (c$4.98 – 4.25g)

Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Conditioner

This generous sample lasted a month and I wasn’t unhappy with the product. It is a great generic conditioner.

Purchase? NO. (c$5.73 – 355ml Full Size)

Trust Fund Beauty Lipgasm Lip Scrub

I received this in an Ipsy bag and I will not be purchasing it. I don’t use a lip scrub in my makeup routine.

Purchase? NO. (c$? – Discontinued)

Dove Dry Spray Invisible

I received this spray deodorant as a gift and was pleasantly surprised. It is fragrance-free, invisible, and long-lasting. Not to mention, the product lasted twice as long as a traditional deodorant. I may re-purchasing it once I finish my other deodorants.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$5.97 – 107g)

Listerine Total Care Zero Antiseptic Mouthwash (First Review)

I bought this mouthwash for a trip because it was the only one available in a bigger travel size.

Re-Purchase? MAYBE. (c$2 – 95ml Travel Size)

OGX Nourishing + Coconut Oil Weightless Hydrating Oil Mist (First Review)

I use to love this hair mist till I realized that it was just perfume in a bottle. It’s an unnecessary step in my hair care routine and I’m cutting it.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$8.47 – 118ml)

Sensodyne Pronamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste (First Review)

My favourite SLS-free toothpaste.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$5.44 – 100ml Value Size)

Systane Lid Wipes (First Review)

My favourite eyelid cleansing wipes.

Re-Purchase? YES. (c$10.97 – 32 Wipes)

Quo by Orly Nail Polish Wine and Dine

An expired red glitter nail polish that I’m unable to wear.

Re-Purchase? NO. (c$? – Discontinued)

Thank you again for reading this last instalment in the series. See you in March 2019 when I speak about the products I finished in January and February.
